Built by AMCAL Multi-Housing in 2015, Alegre is LEED Certified Gold and was the city’s first permanent affordable housing complex facilitated by the Irvine Community Land Trust. AMCAL partnered with LifeSTEPS, Families Forward, the County of Orange, and United Cerebral Palsy to provide social services at the property. Alegre was honored as “Project of the Year” in Orange County by the Kennedy Commission.
